Petition for Degree and Petition for Certificate must be submitted to Admissions and Records by this date. Students MUST meet with a counselor prior to submitting their petition.

Order your announcements for the Commencement Ceremony. Depending on the number of participants, students will be given a maximum of 5 invitations to the ceremony.
This is to honor the 2007-08 transfer students.
Main Theater Foyer

Students will need to RSVP that they will be participating in the ceremony by May 17th. RSVP by submitting your Commencement Reply Form—which you will receive in the mail after you have submitted your petition for your degree—to the Office of Student Activities or the Office of the Vice President of Student Services by May 17th.
Cañada, Skyline and SFSU University Center students will be acknowledged for the certificates and degrees they will receive upon graduation.

Main Theater
Commencement Ceremony is at 7:00 pm, Friday, May 30. Graduates must arrive at 6:00 pm (one hour before ceremony begins).
Seating for family and friends in the Main Theater is first-come first-served. Additional classrooms are available for family and friends to view the ceremony on large screens once the Main Theater is full.
Graduates, their family and friends are invited to a post ceremony Reception that will be held in the cafeteria dining room located in Building 5 immediately following the ceremony. This reception is being sponsored by Associated Students of Cañada College (ASCC).
