Graduation and Commencement 2009

Are you graduating this spring? If you are planning to graduate or receive a certificate this semester be sure to visit this page often. It will help you understand the steps you need to take to receive your diploma or certificate.

This year’s commencement ceremony will take place Friday May 29, 2009 at 5:30pm in the Main Theater. Doors will open at 4:00pm for attendees with tickets. Graduates participating in the ceremony will be given four (4) tickets. Tickets will be available for pick-up Monday May 11, 2009 in the Office of Student Activities, located in building 5 room 211A. Let us know if you are planning to participate in this year’s ceremony by completing the Commencement RSVP form. Complete the form by Friday May 8, 2009.

• All graduates participating in the ceremony must wear a Cañada College cap, gown, and tassel, available for purchase in the Bookstore.
• Graduates can purchase these item along with announcements and sashes beginning Monday May 4, 2009.
• EOPS students that need financial assistance purchasing their cap, gown, and tassel can contact the EOPS office at 650-306-3300

Graduates participating in the ceremony are encouraged to attend the Graduation Rehearsal, taking place Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Main Theater.
