EXPENSES
International Students must have a minimum of $18,000.00 per academic year (10 months) to finance the cost of school and living expenses. Overall community colleges are affordable compared to four year universities.
Additional funds must be available for those students who remain in the United States during the Summer session.
Expense types: Tuition (minimum of 12 units), Enrollment Fees (minimum of 12 units), Basic Fees (per semester), Books and Supplies, Transportation, Room and Board, Medical Insurance, Miscellaneous.
NOTE: All fees are subject to change.
HEALTH INSURANCE
All F-1 students are required to have medical insurance coverage. Students must be prepared to purchase our medical insurance plan ($453 per semester or $1088 per year), or present proof of private medical insurance with adequate coverage.
If you decide to purchase the medical insurance from our district, you must complete and submit the medical insurance enrollment form to the International Student Office with your payment.

FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Cañada College offers some scholarships for International Students based on student's financial need and academic achievements. Students can apply for the Cañada College Scholarships during the Spring semester. Financial Aid is available to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
