Student Art Exhibit Opens in Main Theater Gallery
This year's show features 80 artworks completed by the students in the Studio Art courses.

The Cañada College Art Department is pleased to announce the opening of the Annual Spring Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition is located in Building 3, in the Main Theatre Lobby and continues upstairs in the hallways outside of room 3-261. It will be on view through May 20.
This year’s show has over 80 artworks completed by the students in the Studio Art courses. On view are pencil and charcoal still life drawings, collages and 2D design projects, black and white photographs developed in the darkroom, oil and acrylic paintings, and drawings from the live figure model.
Many of these works are by students who are taking their first studio art course. It is truly amazing to see what they have learned in such a short time period.
