Frogs of Costa Rica

Earn course credit while learning first-hand about the incredible biological diversity found in Costa Rica as part of a study abroad trip in January 2012. The program will be led by Carol Rhodes, Professor of Biology, and Jessica Einhorn, Professor of Anthropology. The trip will take place Jan. 5-13. The cost is $2,492 if you sign up by March 31 and includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, three meals daily, and entrance fees.

"We'll be visiting a range of ecosystems, including coastal beaches, volcanic highlands, rain forests, as well as a coffee plantation," said Rhodes. "We will also experience the unique ecosystem of a mountainous cloud forest from the viewpoint of its canopy and assist with restoration of a natural preserve."

The Costa Rica study abroad trip comes on the heels of the highly successful study abroad trip to Egypt led by Einhorn. "These trips are once-in-a-lifetime for students," Einhorn said. "The students who traveled to Egypt will never forget the experience."
