Drop-in Counseling and Counseling Registration Sessions Available

New students should attend a counseling registration session as soon as possible.

Academic counseling services are available for both new and returning students this summer. If you are a new student planning to attend Cañada this fall, you should attend a Counseling Registration Session. To attend a C-Reg session, please make an appointment by calling 650-306-3452. In addition, all students must have a student identification number (G number,) have taken the placement test, and completed the on-line orientation. Finally, please bring your Registration Ticket with “step 2 Placement Testing” signed and dated by testing staff as well as the online orientation certificate of completion to the C-Reg session. C-REG sessions for all placement levels will take place in Building 9, Room 106. A complete listing of C-Reg session times and dates is available at the Counseling/Career/Transfer Center.

If you are a returning student planning to take classes this fall, you can meet with a counselor on a drop-in basis. Simply add your name to the waiting list when you arrive and have a seat at the counseling center, First Floor, Building 9, and wait to be called by a counselor. Please note that drop-in appointments are on a first-come first-serve basis. A complete list of drop-in hours can be found on the Counseling/Career/Transfer Center home page.
