Nov. 17 Spirit Day Will Feature EA Sports FIFA Smackdown

Are you up to the challenge?

So, you think you are the best at the EA Sports FIFA Soccer video game? Here's your chance to prove it. On Thursday, Nov. 17 Cañada College will host Give Thanks Spirit Day and as part of the event participants will be able to play the EA Sports FIFA video game from noon to 1:30 in the Art Gallery, located just off the quad in Building 9.

Give Thanks Spirit Day will take place from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for evening students. Free hot turkey subs will be available to the first 200 students in the afternoon and the first 75 students in the evening who are wearing Cañada College gear or can show a Fall 2011 Cañada Student ID.

If video games aren't your scene, the Redwood Symphony will be on campus promoting their upcoming show and playing CD's from past concerts. There will also be a Thank You Board for students to leave Post-it notes thanking fellow students, faculty, staff, and family for their support.
