Ghosts and goblins will be roaming the halls as Cañada College holds a series of Halloween Week activities Oct. 27-31. Events include:
Oct. 27 - Halloween Week Spirit Day. ASCC Spooky Spirit Thursday! Free Papusas for the first 200 students and staff wearing Cañada Gear or show their Cañada Student Photo ID. There will be a pumpkin patch, magician and more!
Oct. 27 - Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Spectrum Alliance Club at Cañada College is sponsoring a free screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, 4 p.m. Building 13, Room 112.
Oct. 31 - Pat Hanada Halloween Party. Staff and faculty at the college do their part by raising money for student scholarships at the annual Pat Hanada Halloween Party. Attendees are encouraged to bring finger foods or money to donate to the scholarship fund, and, of course, costumes.
Oct. 31 - Halloween Costume Contest. There will be prizes for both faculty/staff and student costumes. Grab your best costume and scare your classmates. The contest will be held at 12:20 p.m. in the outdoor amphitheater.
