Students Organize Special Meeting for San Bruno Disaster Relief
Students, Staff and Faculty are invited to attend a meeting on Monday, Sept. 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. in Building 9, Room 154.
The recent explosion and fire in San Bruno has left many people without homes, clothes, food, and money. Cañada College is coming together to offer its support.
This special meeting will discuss ideas for uniting campus clubs to raise monetary donations for the Red Cross and solicit donations for clothes, blankets, and food. It will also focus Cañada's efforts to work with the Red Cross and City of San Bruno.
The meeting is open to the entire campus community. It will be held Monday, Sept. 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. in Building 9, Room 154.
Associated Students of Cañada College (ASCC) has already contacted the Red Cross and City of San Bruno to find out what services they need. Vice President Gabriella Kasley and members of the ASCC have organized this event and any feedback is valuable.
