Grand Opening for New Veterans Center Set For March 23
The new center will enable veterans returning to school to receive personalized service and connect with other veterans.

Cañada College will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 23 for the school's new Veteran Resource & Opportunity Center. The V-ROC will provide veterans returning to school with personalized service and allow them to connect with fellow veterans.
"We want to provide a welcoming environment for our veterans who are returning to school," said Margie Carrington, interim dean of student services. "The V-ROC gives veterans a place on campus where they can connect with essential services."
The center is located in the Learning Center on the second floor of Building 9.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is free and open to the public. Please RSVP by calling (650) 306-3250 by Monday, March 21.
