Welcome Back Week Activities

Meet new friends, learn about important student services, and have fun at Cañada's Welcome Back Week.

Are you a new student entering Cañada College for Fall Semester? Be sure to participate in the Associated Students of Cañada College Welcome Back Week activities to meet new friends, learn about student clubs, academic programs, and student services that will help you succeed in college. Welcome Back Week activities will be held Aug. 30 through Sept. 1 in the Upper Quad. They include:

• Fair Day, Aug. 30, 12:30 to 2 p.m. - Representatives from student clubs, academic programs, and support services will have information tables in the quad to answer your questions. Visit six tables and receive a free BBQ hot dog, chips, and water or a t-shirt.
• Night Life, Aug. 31, 6 to 7:30 p.m. - If you are taking classes at night, this is your opportunity to learn about the college. Information tables will be available for student clubs, academic programs and support services. Visit six tables and receive a free Club Drink and appetizer or a t-shirt.
• Spirit Thursday, Sept. 1, 12:30 to 2 p.m. - Did you know that Cañada College has one of the most successful baseball teams in the state? Did you know the Colts qualified for the basketball playoffs last year? Learn about athletics at Cañada, meet the athletes, and show your spirit. The first 200 students wearing a Cañada t-shirt, hat, or other gear will receive a free slice of pizza. Go Colts!
