Unemployed? You May Be Eligible for Tuition-Free Office Skills Training
Classes Begin Sept. 13.
If you are currently unemployed you may be eligible to participate in a tuition-free, one semester, 12-unit Return to Work program that provides training in Basic Accounting, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Business Communication skills. Participants will be offered placement assistance through Peninsula Works, a San Mateo County employment assistance program and Cañada College.
Classes begin Sept. 13 at the Menlo Park campus of Cañada College, 1200 O'Brien Dr. (off Willow East). All applicants must enroll in the program through Cañada College which requires completion of an eligibilty assessment and a placement exam.
