Welcome to the TRiO-Student Support Services (SSS) website at Cañada College in Redwood City, California.
TRiO–SSS is a program funded by the United States Department of Education. Our goal is to provide an academic, social and personal support system for students, to assist them with basic college requirements, and to motivate them towards a successful completion of their college education.
Our program offers instruction in study skills, tutoring services, academic counseling, guidance on career options, assistance in securing admission and financial aid for enrollment in four-year institutions, mentorship, and the overall support of the entire staff.
Within this site you will find information on eligibility, how to apply to TRIO-SSS, a description of our services, and other information you may find useful. Additionally, you may wish to visit us personally on the second floor of Building 9, within the Learning Center. We look forward to meeting you.

We are happy to welcome in our new 2011-2012 cohort of new students! We are no longer accepting applications, however, you can submit an application to be considered on the wait-list. We willl review applications again in December to welcome in Spring additions to our cohort.
