Advising Students
Degree Programs
The University Center at Cañada College currently supports three bachelor degrees, one certificate program and the Center for Teacher Efficacy. The degrees are awarded from the partner university: San Francisco State University or California State University East Bay. While some of the programs maintain open enrollment, others are closed cohorts composed of a group of students who enroll, attend classes, and graduate together. Once a cohort has begun, that program is usually closed until the next cycle.
Who Is Eligible to Attend
Most classes are open to those who meet the prerequisites; a few classes are restricted to cohort members. Admissions requirements vary with each program. Please contact the Cañada College Transfer Coordinator, at (650) 306-3372, for assistance with reviewing requirements for each program. For the most recent prerequisites please visit: www.assist.org.
